The dates for the parliament election 2014 has ben finalised and the ipl chairman ranjib biswal has said on wednesday that 60-70 % of ipl matches will be held in india.
He said , 'ipl is a domestic league' so we must make most of it in india. the decision to hold bulk of matches in india was taken after a meeting with BCCI president N.SRINIVASAN and vice president RAJEEV SHUKLA and RANJIB BISWAL , the ipl chairman.
"After May 16 IPL 7 matches will be held in India. But South Africa as an alternate venue has effectively been ruled out since South Africa wanted to host the entire tournament," a source said.
Besides South Africa, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bangladesh were the other countries which are in fray to host part of IPL 7.
